If you like tattoos, you will love tattoo conventions – simple as that. One of the biggest tattoo events in the country is Tattoo Jam. This year the bash is held at Doncaster Race Course between the 6th and 8th August. If you are in the area make sure you check it out; it promises to be a great weekend!

Derby’s famous Tattoo, Body Art and Music Festival is arriving in town next month, and is the perfect weekend for some weird and wonderful sight seeing!

The two-day extravaganza will host a plethora of body art enthusiasts, body artists, bands and families who just want to have good old fashioned fun. Over 8,000 visitors are expected to enjoy the entertainment, and again the Derby Assembly Rooms will provide a wonderful show.

It all kicks off on the 18th & 19th July, and we hope to make the trip! There a loads of tattoo events coming up over the next few months, so we will keep you posted where and when they’re happening…

If you don’t know already, the Brighton Tattoo Convention kicks off this Saturday until Sunday 1st February, and we’ll be there to see all the strange and wonderful people that inhabit the world of tattoos.

This is the second installment after last year’s hugely successful event, and this year will be even bigger and better! Expect to see an array of international artists and tattoo enthusiasts who will all be proudly exhibiting their work, so be prepared to see lots of flesh!

This month, London plays host to the 4th International Tattoo Convention. Taking place on the 26th of September for 3 days, the convention will be held at Tobaco Dock and will be presented by Tattoo Life.  

Last year saw 20,000 visitors show up to the event and this year looks set to beat that number! This years change of location means that the event will be held in the Tabaco dock, a stunning Victorian venue near Tower Bridge, and the line-up looks to be bigger and even more exciting that before.

The line-up for entertainment includes new French tattoo innovator Dimitri Tatouages; as well as the sold out book exhibition of Flash: The Art Of The Mark; and the vixen that is Betty Lipstick and her new Tattoo Energy Calendar for 2009! Other artists include French emos, the Suicide Girls; Lucky Diamond Rich (the world’s most tattooed person); and Art Exhibition by Jesse Lee.
